Walter House, Community-Based Home

THREE LADIES AND THREE MEN currently populate Walter House known throughout The Cedars as a party house. Our Halloween bash is a big favorite.

This year, the ladies dressed up as cats and the men dressed up as panthers. Highlights of our event were pinning noses on the pumpkin and playing “Wrap the Mummy”, where you wrap someone from head to toe in toilet paper. It’s not as easy as it looks!

Another favorite Walter House activity is card making. We enjoy making cards for our friends and family members for upcoming holidays including Christmas, Valentine’s Day and Easter. This year, we held a Mothers’ Day Tea, providing gifts and corsages for the Moms.
